the loop
Loop Speaker is an assistive device designed to help deaf and hard-of-hearing students stay aware of classroom communication through touch. When a teacher speaks, the speaker converts sound into gentle vibrations that can be felt in the hand, offering a discreet cue to look up and re-engage visually. Its soft, looped form invites interaction and comfort, balancing playfulness with purpose. Paired with a companion app, users can customize vibration strength, connection settings, and feedback responses. By translating auditory signals into tactile awareness, Loop Speaker creates a new sensory bridge between teachers and students, transforming sound into connection.
Teapot
This 3D-printed teapot, designed in Rhino, is inspired by Bauhaus principles of geometry and functionality. Its bold, angular form and contrasting accents create a modern, sculptural take on a traditional object, blending design and utility seamlessly.
Zed table
The Zed Table is a sculptural exploration of anti-gravity, designed to challenge perceptions of balance and structure. Crafted from steel with mirrored surfaces, it creates a striking visual illusion while maintaining full functionality as a side table. Its bold, angular form makes it a conversation piece, ideal for modern and minimalist interiors. Whether as a functional surface or an artful statement, the Zed Table embodies the intersection of design, physics, and visual intrigue.

Watts inspired push-pull door handle
I designed and welded this push-and-pull door handle, inspired by burglar bars and the architecture of Watts, LA. Using a blowtorch to shape the steel, I incorporated twisted and pointed elements that evoke security and movement. The result is a functional, sculptural piece that turns a simple interaction into an artistic statement.
ashtray
This fused glass ashtray was created by carefully arranging broken pieces of colorful glass atop a clear square base. Once the composition was set, I placed it in a kiln to be fused and slumped, allowing the pieces to bond seamlessly into a smooth, functional form. The result is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind design that blends texture, transparency, and bold color.”
